Built-In White Toner for Light and Dark Materials

Three cartridge modes and page yields for the icolor 560 white toner printer

What sets this printer apart is its fluorescent white toner cartridge shipped right in the box alongside the CMYK set. White gives you the coverage needed to make colors pop on dark and transparent surfaces.

You get three cartridge configurations, all controlled through the ProRIP software:

  • Standard CMYK for conventional full color prints
  • Spot Color Underprinting to lay white beneath your design on dark materials
  • Spot Color Overprinting to place white on top of your color layer

The starter set includes CMYK cartridges rated at 1,000 pages and a white cartridge rated at 7,000 pages. Keep in mind that black, white, or clear cartridges can never be installed at the same time. Only one of those three sits in the machine at any moment. For best adhesive transfer results, keep toner coverage at 70% or higher, and vector art plus text tend to give you the cleanest output.

Transfer Onto Fabric, Mugs, Glass, and More

Materials the uninet icolor 560 can transfer onto including fabric mugs glass and metal

This one machine handles a wide range of surfaces. Print your design, then use a heat press to transfer onto:

  • Natural and synthetic fabric, both light and dark
  • Mugs and ceramics, glass, acrylic, wood, and metal
  • Light, dark, and clear labels
  • Leather, window cling, banners, and magnetic sheeting
  • Light and dark paper stock

That flexibility opens up real product lines: T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and sports apparel, aprons and tote bags, corporate logo shirts, mouse pads, temporary tattoos, stationery, invitations, menus, envelopes, decals, brochures, signs, and packaging prototypes. A heat press or equivalent (such as a Hotronix Fusion press) is required for transfer work and is not included in the package.

Sharp Detail at 2400 x 600 dpi With the uninet 560

Resolution processor memory and speed specs for the uninet icolor 560 printer

Crisp text and clean edges matter when your design ends up worn or displayed. The 2400 x 600 dpi resolution renders fine lines and small type with clarity, which is why vector art and line work produce the strongest results.

Under the hood you get a 350 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM to keep jobs moving. Print speed reaches up to 25 ppm in color and monochrome, running up to 8 ppm on transfer paper and up to 26 ppm on standard copy paper. Duplex printing comes standard on regular paper, though it is not available through the bypass tray.

Handle Everyday Jobs With the icolor 560 printer

Duty cycle tray capacity and paper handling for the icolor 560 white toner printer

Built for steady production, this machine carries a duty cycle of up to 65,000 pages per month. The main tray holds 250 sheets, and a single-sheet bypass tray lets you feed specialty media one at a time.

Media handling covers a practical range:

  • Paper sizes from 3" x 5" up to 8.5" x 14"
  • Tray 1 sizes: A4, A5, A6, B4, B5, Legal, Letter, HLT
  • Bypass sizes: A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Legal, Letter, HLT
  • Paper weight from 60 to 163 g/m² (16 lb. bond to 43 lb. index)

Banner paper is available as a media option, though roll media is not supported. Keep paper length at or below 14", since longer sheets can cause jams.

Connectivity and Control Panel on the uninet icolor 560 printer

Detail of the uninet 560 top panel showing Wi-Fi Direct button, LCD screen and NFC touchpoint

Connect the way that suits your setup. The printer offers 10/100-TX Ethernet, High-Speed USB v2.0, and Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac). In CMYK mode it also supports WiFi Direct and NFC. For network use, setting a static IP address is strongly recommended.

The top-mounted control panel keeps operation simple with an LCD display showing toner indicators, a Wi-Fi Direct button, OK and Back navigation buttons, an NFC touch area, and a power button. Available in 120v and 230v models to match your region.

Everything Included With the uninet icolor 560

Full uninet icolor 560 printer package with cartridges, ProRIP software and beginner notebook

Open the box and you have what you need to start producing transfers, including production software and training resources:

  • IColor 560 printer
  • 5 toner cartridges (CMYW plus True Black)
  • IColor ProRIP Essentials transfer software on a USB dongle
  • IColor SmartCUT Enhanced RIP software
  • White Toner Beginners Notebook
  • White Toner Master Class Video Series
  • Quick Start Video
  • 25 free graphics
  • Ethernet cable, USB cable, and power cord

Want to expand your output? Optional upgrade kits add gold, silver, fluorescent (CMY), dye sublimation (CMYK), security, and clear toner options. Dye sublimation prints onto white 100% polyester or sublimation-coated materials in CMYK only, with no white overprint option in that mode. Always use genuine UNINET IColor consumables, since incompatible supplies can cause damage.

Simple Setup and Ongoing Care

Setup and care steps for the uninet icolor 560 printer including software install

Getting running is direct. Unpack and remove the orange security tape, prep and shake each cartridge, install them in your chosen configuration, then power on and connect. Install the ProRIP software from the included USB dongle, disabling or uninstalling antivirus software before installation (except Windows Defender), run the first-time setup, and match your print queue (CMYK, Underprint, or Overprint) to your physical cartridge layout. A Windows 10 or 11 PC is required to run the software, and the dongle must stay inserted whenever the program is running. An internet connection is needed for first-time setup, and .NET Framework may be required as a prerequisite. Once installed, the software also provides a ProRIP Help File and a Remote Support application to assist you.

Note that the printer is not compatible with Snapdragon processors. Keep the machine in its optimal environment, between 45% and 65% humidity and 50°F/10°C to 75°F/24°C.

Routine care is guided by on-screen prompts: replace toner cartridges and the waste toner bottle when notified, clean the toner density sensor, LD unit dust shield, and registration roller as needed, replace the fusing unit as needed, service the paper feed components after misfeeds, and run color registration if alignment drifts. The physical USB dongle carries a 3-month warranty on the drive itself, and a replacement cost applies if it is lost or damaged after that period. Need help getting set up or sourcing supplies? Software Workflow That Powers the icolor 560 white toner printer

The real control room behind this machine is IColor ProRIP Essentials, the production workflow software that ships on a USB dongle. It decides how white gets laid down, so the printer knows whether to run an underprint, an overprint, or a straight CMYK job. That layer of intelligence is what turns a single cartridge swap into three distinct print modes.

Two software tools work together in the box:

  • IColor ProRIP Essentials manages your print queues and matches each job to the physical cartridge setup you have loaded
  • IColor SmartCUT Enhanced RIP extends your options for cutting and layout work

The dongle must stay inserted the whole time the program runs, and an internet connection is needed the first time you launch it. Once running, you also gain a ProRIP Help File and a built-in Remote Support application, so guidance sits right inside the software you use every day.

Power and Placement Planning for the icolor 560

Fitting this machine into a workspace takes a quick look at both footprint and electrical needs. It measures 15.7" x 17.7" x 13.1" (400 x 450 x 334 mm) and weighs 55 lb. (25 kg), compact enough for a sturdy tabletop yet solid enough to stay put during production runs.

On the power side, plan around your region and draw:

  • Available in 120v and 230v models
  • Draws 11 amps at 120v or 6 amps at 230v, with a maximum of 1,300 watts
  • Needs a dedicated circuit of at least 15 amps

Keeping the printer on its own circuit protects steady output and guards against nuisance trips when the fuser pulls its heaviest load. Environment matters too, with an optimal range of 45% to 65% humidity and 50°F/10°C to 75°F/24°C keeping toner and transfers behaving as expected.
